Mario Ceroli

Mario Ceroli (1938, Castel Frentano) is an Italian artist and designer known for blending art and design. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and began his career as a sculptor, experimenting with poor materials such as raw wood, which he transformed into objects, figures and installations with strong visual impact.
As a designer, Ceroli applied his sculptural sensibility to everyday objects and furnishings, creating decorative pieces and scenography characterized by simple forms and natural materials. His aesthetic combines functionality with visual poetry, turning ordinary elements into works of art.
He has also worked as a theatrical set designer, where his design approach is evident in his careful use of space, light, and materials. His works and design projects are part of public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
